2 burning questions...and opinions on them each.

Okay, this was a big debate that im willing to discuss on a q of the day on fb tomorrow. I am writing these, with both of my opinions, so this is from a fairly subjective point of view, but im still wondering (and encouraging) an opinion on the issue at hand, its good to see both sides of it, and see what the world thinks and justify s if they could in fact write the laws. Its been fun and interesting to see whats morally correct to someone, and what is not to others. (well 2 issues) the first one is:

If an inmate is on death row, does he have the right to donate his organs?

why its good: many people out there, of young and old age, are needing organs (that of which, most cannot be made in a lab). Many inmates, are also out there set on death row to be executed (there are 36 in Oregon alone). Why not give those that need an organ of some kind, that of an inmates organ?

why its bad: People are afraid that using the organs of inmates, might cause the state to put a rush on the execution of them. If someone is waiting for a kidney, and one of the inmates on death row is a matching donor, why wouldn't they kill them faster to get that healthy person that kidney? so basically, it seems as if they are avoiding a "what if" in this case, that could save many lives.

So, anyone reading, what do you think? Do you believe that an inmate has no right to donate their organs? or do you believe that they should be able to willingly donate their organs and succeed in providing for the needy after they are gone?

SECONDLY, The other issue at hand: this one is very subjective, and often touchy.

Lets say a man rapes a girl, and for whatever reason (including her not reporting it) the man does not go to Jail.

Lets say the Woman that got raped, was your: Daughter, Niece, Sister, Mother, Aunt, Grandmother, whatever.

What do you do?

Lets say you beat the shit out of him, and tattoo the word RAPIST all over his body, is that wrong? Do two wrongs make a right?

Now, you can think of it in a biblical sense (which would be cheek for a cheek) the beginning of the bible says eye for an eye, but Jesus came to Earth in the New testament, and set things straight.

Anyways, do you yourself, or COULD you yourself, do something horrible and malicious too this person knowing what monstrous act he committed? or are you mellow and in believing that God will bring justice to this man, and protect other people?
