Chris and Chester

Let’s have a chat about the dirty infestation that is suicide.

On May 18th it was Chris Cornell. Everybody saw him as this rather successful man who was wealthy and talented who was also the leader of 2 successful bands that most of us grew up listening to. (Soundgarden and Audioslave).

Deep inside he was suffering and nobody knew it. So his answer was to finish himself off.

No thoughts of his children, wife, family and friends who are feeling the pain of his loss.

A couple months later on July 20th, Chester Bennington commit suicide on Cornell’s birthday. Not everybody realizes he was very close to Cornell. Bennington was also Considered talented, wealthy, and in the light of others very successful.

So what happened? Was it the pain of living that got to them? Or was Bennington in so much pain from losing Cornell and feeling helpless that he left his wife and six children?

The point of my rant is, don't disappear willingly. There are so many other options and everybody around you will suffer and everybody around you will blame themselves for your loss and that could create somebody else to make a lifetime decision that can hurt everybody around them.

Suicide is like a bad and contagious infection. Don't infect others by taking your own life. It me feel like people are better-off without you but trust me 100%, they are much better with you here.
